Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe Package
Located near the entrance to the Shrine grounds, the Pilgrim Center provides a place where pilgrims are welcomed. Upon arrival an orientation film is available providing a re-enactment of the Apparitions of Our Lady to (Saint) Juan Diego in 1531, and gives an overview of the full construction project. Also located in the Pilgrim Center, the gift shop has quickly become the premier source of religious gifts, books, videos, music and artwork for the surrounding area and beyond. A short walk from the Pilgrim Center is the Mother of Good Counsel Votive Candle Chapel. Nestled along side the natural bluff, the chapel provides a place of serenity and inspiration for prayer while housing a candle rack with 576 votive candles. Leaving the Votive Candle Chapel, the Pilgrims may proceed along a paved meditation trail that gradually climbs along the contours of the bluff leading to the Shrine Church and outside Stations of the Cross. The Shrine Church, which will be the heart of the complex, is dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe and sits majestically against the natural forest backdrop. Designed in the traditional cruciform design and resplendent with stained glass windows celebrating the life of Our Blessed Mother, the Church will seat approximately 400 people and will be completed in 2007. The Stations of the Cross wind alongside the bluff in a natural setting. A paved path leads Pilgrims along the way of the cross; granite benches are placed at each station to allow Pilgrims to rest, meditate, and pray. For pilgrims seeking food and refreshment, Culina Mariana Restaurant, offers a place to rest and to enjoy light fare and beverages.

Chapel of St. Rose Package
Located at the Motherhouse of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, this "Chapel of the Angels" is one of the most beautiful in the United States. The chapel has been featured on national and regional television. Beginning in August 2003, the Franciscan Sisters will celebrate 125 years of continuous prayer. Since August 1, 1892, without interruption, at least two Franciscan Sisters have maintained a prayer vigil for the community, the Church, the city, and the world. The interior of the chapel is an architectural and artistic treasure. It is Romanesque in style, with Corinthian pillars and windows of Bavarian stained glass. Altars of Italian marble are decorated with gold bronze, onyx pillars, and inlaid mosaics of Venetian glass and mother of pearl. The shape of the chapel symbolizes attributes of God. The high ceilings represent a God who transcends the finite world while the shape of the nave, transepts, and sanctuary form a cross, acknowledging an immanent God who has been with humankind even through suffering and death.

Historic Hixon House Package
The historic Hixon House, located in Lacrosse Wisconsin, is the home of lumber baron Gideon Hixon. An architecturally and historically important site, the house was begun in 1859. It contains its original 19th-century furnishings, so visitors are provided an authentic look into the lifestyle of the latter Victorian period. The house features beautiful woodwork, and the furnishings include many fine pieces from the Hixons' travels to the Orient and Europe. Visitors can also enjoy the lovely grounds with flower beds, wrought iron fencing and ornamental hedges which have also been restored to their circa 1900 glory.

City Brewery Package
The City Brewery invites guests to tour our brewery and see the World's Largest Six-Pack. Located at the corner of Third and Mississippi streets (in La Crosse), the brewery was established in 1858 by John Gund and Gottlieb Heileman, and is an enterprise of great value. The premises consists of the brewery proper, malt house, ice-house and bottling department, all of stone, and erected at a liberal outlay. At first, but a limited quantity of beer was placed upon the market compared with the amount now annually brewed, but as years came and went the demand increased and the product augmented proportionately.

Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center Package

Norskedalen (which means "The Norwegian Valley") began in 1977 as an outdoor laboratory and arboretum when Dr. Alf Gundersen and his wife Carroll donated the Gundersen farm. Tour through more than 11 historic buildings, including the 1853 Skumsrud Cabin, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cashton Amish Tour Package
The first Amish to arrive in the Cashton area was in 1965. Eight Amish men came looking for land. They were looking to leave the congested area near Cleveland, Ohio. In January of 1966 the first real estate transfer took place. By February, the first Amish family moved to the area and by March, seven more families had arrived. The Cashton Amish community has grown to several hundred families and over 2,000 individuals making this area the largest Amish community in the state of Wisconsin and on e of the larges in the nation. It is a great sight to see a hundred or so Amish building a farm. It's a great treat to see their buggies and hearing the clip-clop of their horse's hooves along scenic and secluded roadways. The Amish are noted for their excellent crafts, beautiful furniture, artistic quilts and tasty baked goods and produce. Come tour the Cashton Amish Community. You will be treated to beautiful scenery and the simple life. Visit with the Amish as you enjoy their handcrafted creations and their truly unique way of life.
